At the height of the pandemic, disillusioned by fast-fashion, Roxy fell in love with the practice of taking a simple ball of yarn and turning it into a unique, long-lasting piece of clothing. After crafting a hoard of hand-made garments for friends and family she decided her talent would be better shared with the world.


She sold her work sporadically until late 2024. In the meantime, she supplemented her small graduate stipend by selling her work at local DC maker markets. At the start of this year she launched her creative business, based in Washington D.C., with a social impact model. Since the launch, she has sold her work at local markets, shipped across the country, and gained a healthy online following.
